28th Annual Polar Bear Plunge & Winter Festival
March 2 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Calling all fun–seekers, polar bears in training, dancers, and big hearts!
Get ready to jump, dance and laugh at the BIGGEST winter bash of the season: While raising funds to benefit the NE GA Council on Domestic Violence. The festival begins at 11 and ends at 4pm. Registration for Jumpers, Dancers and volunteers will be from 11 am-12 pm.
It’s going to be a chilly snowball–tossing, laughter–exploding extravaganza with something for everyone, from tiny tots to jolly grandparents.
Boogie the Polar Bear, your cuddly mascot, welcomes you with open paws for picture–perfect moments while you unleash your inner child with sweet treats, face painting, games and winter crafts. If you are feeling brave, show off your sky–high leaps in the Polar Bear Plunge or dance
in the streets all the while showing off your costumes for the contest.
There will be food and beverage vendors, cake walk, music and kids play area. Bring the entire family, there is fun to be had for everyone. We will have wonderful new and past judges for the jumpers, dancers and costumes. Bring a chair and hang around to watch the costume parade. We look forward to seeing you and making this the best event yet.
