Each year the demand for services increases while the support of government agencies decreases. It is imperative that we partner with individuals, corporations, and foundations to remain responsive to the needs of victims of domestic violence and their children in our communities.
This year our shelter operated at 125% capacity, and still we had to turn away 123 requests for shelter services. While we do everything we can to find victims and their children a safe place, locating out of the area is hard on the family. Help us keep them in their communities as familiar surroundings and people can help families heal.
